Kombat Night #1: a Mortal Kombat 1 tournament in Chamblee
It's a 16-player, double elimination bracket on the PS5s at our lounge. Sign up now and we'll text you the date as soon as the bracket fills.
Where the $15 goes
$10 covers the venue and the stations. The other $5 from every player goes into the prize pot, so a full bracket of 16 makes it $80.
How it works
- 1Sign up. Saving a spot is free, and you don't pay anything today.
- 2We set the date. Once 16 players are in, we text everyone the date, the start time and how to pay the $15 entry.
- 3Check in and play. Get there 30 minutes early to check in. Sets are best of 3, and the finals are best of 5.
- 4Lose twice and you're out. The last player standing wins, and the top 3 split the pot.
How a 16-player bracket plays out
This is a made-up example to show how double elimination works, so none of these names are real players. When the bracket fills, the real one goes up here with your tag in it.

Questions players ask
Do I need to be good to sign up?+
No. In double elimination you play at least two sets even if you lose early, so first-timers still get real games in.
When is the tournament?+
We set the date as soon as 16 players sign up, then text everyone the day and start time. Signing up doesn't lock you in, so if the date doesn't work for you, just tell us.
Can I use my own controller?+
Yes. Bring your own pad or stick, or use one of ours. Turbo and macro buttons aren't allowed.
Is there an age limit?+
Mortal Kombat 1 is rated M (Mature 17+) by the ESRB. If you're under 17, pick that in the age field and we'll talk it through when we confirm the date.
Will you run other games?+
We'd like to. Tick the other games you'd play when you sign up, and we'll use those votes to pick the next bracket.
